Canal Info Committee Message......    (21/9/2006)
Following a complaint raised at a local community forum meeting by a member of the public using the canal towpath, the committee agreed to reiterate to all anglers using the canal that when using poles they try to not to obstruct the towpath no longer than necessary and to respect and be polite to other canal users, in return it is expected that other users will repay that respect and be patient.
If possible when withdrawing the pole from the swim please try to run it along the bank and not directly backwards across the towpath.

The Spring League is well under way and it seems the warmer weather has led to better fishing. After 5 matches it's still pretty tight in the league and only 7 points covers the top 6 positions.
