Spring League

being replaced by a series of Open Matches
This has replaced the Winter League and will be run on a similar format.
The competition will run From 12th March to 14th May and will be open to 20 anglers on a first pay, first in basis.
The cost to join the league will be £20.00 with £7.00 pools money payable on the day.
7 matches will be fished on the Dixon's Lock Section of the Chesterfield Canal.(subject to change)
Draw at Dixon's Lock Car park at 8.30am and fished 10.00am - 3.00pm
2 equal sections (10 anglers max) Points awarded to 1st (10pts), 2nd (9pts), etc in each section.
5 pts awarded to all anglers present at their pegs at weigh in.
5 matches will count towards the Spring league, the lowest 2 points scored will be discarded.
Prize money awarded to overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each match.
Prize money awarded to 2 section winners in each match. (section wins excludes overall winners)
The amount of prize money and placings for the overall league will be dependant on the number of entries.
